NEW IDEAS WEBSITE NOW LIVE FOR ALL CUSTOMERS
SUGA is and SunGard Public Sector (SPS) have been collaborating over the last year to redesign what used to be called the Enhancement Request (ER) process. Some of the challenges of the old process were that it specific mostly to the NaviLine product and that the development cycles for the ER’s were long, sometimes years depending on future version release dates.
The new program is being called an IDEAS process rather than ER to incorporate future expansion of the program to ideas for changes that may not be limited to only software.
The benefits to the IDEAS process are:

Access 365 days a year.

Any customer can enter an IDEA (only SUGA members will be able to evaluate them).

A fluid development process will allow for IDEAS to be incorporated year round as developers complete them.
